The development of the Crumlin Road Courthouse and its 2-acre site is a unique opportunity for luxury hotel operators to become involved in the rapidly burgeoning Northern Ireland business and tourism marketplace.
The imposing neo- Palladian Courthouse on Belfast’s Crumlin Road is recognised as one of the city’s most historic landmark buildings.
Built in 1850 and echoing classical Greek structures, the Courthouse was designed by Sir Charles Lanyon, the architect of some of Belfast's most famous buildings including City Hall, Custom House, Belfast Castle and Queen's University.
It is now planned to develop a 161 bedroom hotel in a project which will restore the building back to its former glories.
